Your offerings to the Global Advance Fund directly support us as we live and work here in Cambodia.  Thank you for your faithful and sacrificial giving.  You can give to the Global Advance Fund through designating your gift on your local Alliance church offering envelope or by sending your cheque directly to our C&MA office in Canada and designating the offering to "Global Advance Fund - Lobbezoo Support".

University Ministry

One of our more regular day-to-day ministry responsibilities is our involvement with university students and more specifically with the residents of the University Student Dorm ministry.  In exchange for free accomodations while enrolled in a city college or university course of study, they give us some time daily for Biblical/spiritual formation study. Our goal is to see these young people graduate having had every opportunity to become capable leaders in our churches.  We are now renting 2 apartment-type facilities which serve as our dorm residences.  As we have separated the men and women in these separate facilities, we have also hired young leaders for each group.  These two leaders are responsible for the daily workings of the dorm environment and the students who reside there. After more than a decade ministering out of rented facilities, this congregation is keen to see the day when they can conduct their ministries from their own property and building.   We are thankful for the interest that has been expressed already and for the financial support that has already come in.  Construction begun in early Spring and the main structure is now.  Further progress has been delayed while they await further funds though their hopes remain that they will be able to celebrate Christmas in these new facilities.  Due to the recent rise in the cost of building materials they have dealt with constant adjustments to the total cost of the project.  Outlined here are the current financial standings.
